Viasat Broadcasting has prolonged its exclusive live Baltic broadcasting rights to the FIA Formula One motor racing World Championship until the end of the 2014 season.
The rights, which have been acquired from Formula One Management Limited, include, but are not limited to, broadcast coverage on free-TV, pay-TV, mobile devices and the internet.
The premium pay-TV channel Viasat Sport Baltic will offer viewers in the three Baltic Republics live coverage of the championship, while free TV viewers will be able to see recorded coverage of races on the local channel in the evening following races.
Viasat has held the rights to Formula One in Estonia and Lithuania since 2002 and Latvia since 2009.
