Kyle Dixon, a partner in the telecommunications practice of law firm Wilkson Barker Knauer, has joined Time Warner's public policy group.
Dixon will serve as vice president, public policy, reporting to senior vice president Steve Vest.
Dixon's resume includes entries as deputy chief of the Federal Communications Commission's Media Bureau and special counsel on broadband policy.
High on Time Warner's policy agenda is getting the FCC to "reform" the retransmission-consent process. Along with others it has petitioned the commission to mandate standstill agreements and outside arbitration.
