Romtelecom’s NextGen has acquired a cable operator based in the city of Faragas.
ZF reports that the subscribers of Cativagn Serv have been informed by the company that it has been owned by NextGen since July, though the deal could have been completed as far back as the end of last year.
NextGen has been active in the Romanian cable market since 2008 and currently has over 100,000 subscribers in 20 cities and 100 rural communities.
Cativagn Serv posted a profit of €125,000 last year.
