Moving Pictures Film & Television heads to MIPCOM with a number of titles that have already seen successful sales over the summer, including Spooner.

The romantic comedy Spooner recently sold to Digi Dreams of Germany. Additional films on offer include the live-action family titles Adventure Scouts and No Limit Kids: Much ado About Middle School, as well as the animated family adventure The Lucky Dragon. Moving Pictures wrapped further deals with Digi Dreams on titles such as Alice in Murderland, part of a five-film agreement. Other deals include P.T. Parkit of Indonesia for Dolan’s Cadillac and Falcon Films in the Middle East for The Lucky Dragon.

TV sales were secured with GA&A of Italy for the pay-TV rights to Bikini Destinations. Playboy TV in India picked up 30 hours of programming, including Wild Side and Destination X. WVG of Germany went for Bikini Destinations and Simply Wet. First Automotive in Ukraine picked up Billionaires Car Club.

“We have expanded our range and depth of films and television series so extensively over the past few months that we now have choices for virtually every type of broadcast and DVD buyer in the world,” said Ted Chalmers, Moving Pictures’ president of worldwide sales. “Following our successful group of acquisitions at Toronto, we look forward to being a part of a vibrant MIPCOM marketplace.”
