A Walkout by workers at the broadcasting network provider Digita may cause disruptions to television broadcasts in Finland today. The 24-hour job action, that started at 8 am this morning, will prevent installations and repairs to the network. Some 250 people are walking off the job at offices in Helsinki and Vantaa to protest job cuts affecting around 60 people.
The French-owned Digita is responsible nationwide for the relay and transmission of broadcast television services in Finland.
