TV Sport-1 started in package "Ukrkosmos on satellite Hellas Sat

Today a group of companies "Surface" and operator of satellite telecommunication systems SE "Ukrkosmos" reached an agreement on the distribution of the signal channel Sport 1 via satellite Hellas Sat (39°East). This measure is a forced and temporary nature in connection with the need to signal propagation channel Sport 1 for cable operators in Ukraine, with which the company "Surface" concluded the contract. This solution gives a minimum cost for setting up equipment, as well as up-links "Ukrkosmos" and "surface" are not far from each other. Currently, technical staff from both companies conducting test broadcasts of the channel, and soon the signal will be encoded.

TV Sport 1 "- satellite, cable sports Ukrainian TV channel started broadcasting on Dec. 1, 2005. Owner Channel - the company "Surface". Broadcast language - Ukrainian. TV broadcasts mainly soccer, basketball, tennis, rarely athletics, swimming and motorcycling.

UPDATED - Ukrainian sports channel Sport 1 began test broadcasts on the Greek satellite Hellas Sat 2 (39°E) under the domestic platform Ukrkosmos. Big broadcasters welcome all sports fans.

Sport 1 Ukraine delivers live broadcasts, records and magazines about motor racing, football, hockey, tennis and other sports. Station previously aired coded under paid DTH services Poverkhnost Plus satellite Eutelsat W4 (36°E). This satellite pay-TV but last month for financial reasons, interrupted their broadcasts. Poverkhnost TV is now seeking new investors who will help restore the operating platform and secure funding for future years.

Sport 1 broadcasts via satellite Hellas Sat 2 Ukrkosmos in the packet. The transponder operates in the Middle East beam. To receive a transponder is required to Slovak dish with a diameter of about 120 cm. Revenue in the Czech Republic conditions are getting worse and the income is necessary to choose a dish with a diameter of about 140-150 cm.
