The Latvian incumbent telco Lattelecom has significantly improved its DTT service through the addition of 10 more channels.
As a result, viewers are now offered 43, along with the free national channels LTV1, LTV7, LNT and TV3, as well as a regional channel.
The new channels are all international and include one – Sony Entertainment Television – that is being provided on an exclusive basis.
Lattelecom’s DTT offer is divided into free, basic and thematic packages. Significantly, viewers living within a 40km radius of the Zakusalas tower in Riga can also receive Discovery HD Showcase
