Motive buys up NXVision

Motive Television has acquired the assets of NXVision from the liquidator for £10,000 (€11,970) in cash.
Based in Dunfermline, Scotland, NXVision was founded in 2006 and has developed proprietary software that allows any internet-connected device or mobile phone to obtain and display anything available on a set-top box or internet connected TV.

An agreement has been reached in principal with the founders and key staff of NXVision to formulate a commercial plan for the exploitation of the assets. Once an agreement is reached, a joint venture will be created in which Motive holds an 80% stake and the founders of NXVision 20%.

Motive would like to exploit NXVision’s software enhancing the Bestv technology for which it has the global rights, except in Spain and Italy.
