Anyone with a Blackberry Storm 2, Blackberry Bold 9700 or Blackberry Torch 9800 in the UK can now download the Blackberry iPlayer app.
The app only works with smartphones powered by the Blackberry OS 5.0 operating system and a WiFi connection is required to use the service.
The version of iPlayer works exactly the same as it does online, with options to watch live BBC shows, or access on-demand content.
Last month, iPlayer was rated as the most user-friendly catch-up TV service in the UK in a survey conducted by user experience consultancy Webcredible.
