    Adam & Eve, OMD and Momentum will be involved in raising awareness of the launch of YouView.
    Internet connected Digital TV platform YouView has appointed a number of advertising agencies to promote its forthcoming launch.

    The joint venture between some of the UK's biggest broadband and TV companies, including the BBC, BT, ITV and TalkTalk, revealed it will use the services of three agencies - Adam & Eve, OMD and Momentum.

    These partners will co-ordinate the rollout of YouView's various channels by mid-2011.

    Marketing director at the organisation Tim Hunt insisted that all the parties involved in YouView - formerly known as Project Canvas - are committed to bringing the initiative "to life".

    Mr Hunt added: "We believe YouView will transform the way people watch TV forever and have assembled a highly talented agency team to help deliver this."

    Speaking at a recent Broadcast Journalist Guild event, YouView chairman Kip Meek said pay-TV giant Sky would be welcome to get involved with the joint venture, but not as a shareholder.

    This is despite the fact Sky has been critical of the project in the past. will be involved in raising awareness of the launch of YouView.
