MBox Admin Beta

As I had some knowledge some time ago and I tarps are turning to it to create a program to manage our MBox, and at last we have a Beta version we would like you were trying. We want to create a friendlier version of which already exist, and what better way to do this with the help of all.

This first beta does the most basic thing we can ask these types of programs, but little by little we will adapt to all ideas that we bear.

Minimum

    Windows XP SP 2
    Windows installer 3.1 *
    . NET Framework 3.5 *

- Recommendations for users of Windows Vista and 7:
- Give Administrator permissions
- Run with compatibility of Windows XP SP 2

This version is tested on Windows XP and Windows 7, and although we struggled to put it to work, you may find yourselves with some of these errors:

    Permission error: This program needs to have permissions on the folder where you installed to create the configuration file and then download the information from your deco.
    Access error, command unrecognized (especially in users of Windows 7) This is due to the type of FTP access, you will have to check or uncheck the "Use Passive FTP" in the "Settings" tab.


Utilities that considerations mentioned

    Type of Peer "Lost" (red) are shown for peers that does not resolve your IP address by your host. The typical IP 000.000.000.000.
    Type of Peer "FAKE" (pink): Detects all those peers who are not legal and they are giving us problems.
    Check to add new DLine: How many times has happened to us that adding a new DLine we have not noticed already in our cwshare.cfg and restart everything is black? I do not know you, but to me a few ... Now with this program and it will not happen anymore. Adding a new DLine proves that we have not, and if it exists, we will add it.
    "Help" tab: This forum within our application. In this tab you will see this forum directly in the application and can access quickly and easily.


Initial configuration of the application

To begin work with MBox Admin - lonasdigital.com just have to follow these steps:

    Go to "Settings" tab
    IP Address .- Write the IP address of our deco.
    User Administrator user .- Our deco. (Root in most cases)
    Password .- The administrator user password for our deco.
    Route mbox.cfg .- The path from the root of our deco where the file is mid mbox.cfg, ending in "/". azbox example .- "/ plugins / OpenXCAS / MboxCAS /" (without the quotes) example for dream. - "/ Var / keys /" (without the quotes)
    Check or uncheck the "Use Passive FTP" depending on our needs.
    Click on the "<- Read";

With this, and if everything is correct, will be filled automatically by the other routes and you can go to the tab "mbox" and "update" our list of peers.

Information on minor errors detected:

When you first boot the Beta 1.1 will get the following error if we had installed an earlier version:

"There has been the following error when opening the application: Index was outside the bounds of the array."

Reason: When desinstamos an earlier version, the file where you save your configuration is not deleted. This version has added the option to submit bug reports, and run the new version will find new information to that file, which does not yet exist.

Solution: This only happens the first time you run the Beta 1.1 version and make it work. Once done, this configuration file is regenerated correctly and include missing data, so no longer will show the error for this reason.

It is always recommended to uninstall any installed version prior to installing a new version.
