BBC appoints new exec

The BBC has appointed Ralph Rivera as director, digital media, Future Media & Technology.
In his new role, Rivera will report to Erik Huggers, director of BBC Future Media & Technology, and take responsibility for delivery of all the BBC’s digital media products on the web, mobile devices and internet-connected TV platforms.
He will work in partnership with the BBC’s editorial divisions Vision, Audio & Music, Journalism and North.
Rivera, who takes up his new position on November 8, was most recently at Major League Gaming in New York.
