Web TV Enterprise, a premium UK online video advertising network, has appointed former Sky executive Paul Wright as a non-executive advisor on its board.
Wright, who has more than 22 years of experience in commercial media and TV, founded online sports and advertising network Aura Sports in 2002.
The company, which represents a host of leading sports websites, was sold to Sky in August 2006 in a multi-million pound deal.
The media sales agency now sells advertising for Sky on the majority of Premier League football club websites, as well as other major sports.
Wright started his career at Sky as one of the first members of the firm's advertising team, before going on to work for Bauer Media, AOL and a variety of startup ventures.
Web TV Enterprise hopes to harness his vast experience to help the company expand outside the UK and develop its offering to publishers, content owners and advertisers.
"With industry analysts projecting major growth in online video advertising spend over the next three years, I am looking forward to working with Web TV Enterprise, which has been at the forefront of the online video market for over four years," said Wright.
