Motorola puts video everywhere

IBC 2010 – Hall 1, Stand F30. Motorola Mobility intends to blend content with context as the concept of TV everywhere ushers in a new era of home and mobile entertainment.
“We’re inviting visitors to IBC to come behind the screen to see how Motorola can efficiently deliver content into the home, around the home and outside the home too. We’re excited about showing our customers how the management of content across a network can be simplified and how the customer experience can be truly customised across any screen,” commented Steve McCaffery, vice president and general manager, Home EMEA, Motorola Mobility.
On display will be Motorola Medios, a multi-screen service management software suite that seamlessly integrates web and walled garden content into IP delivery into set-tops PCs and mobile devices over both managed and unmanaged networks. Medios runs across manage video assets, security, monetisation, service assurance and enhanced personalisation.
Media servers, designed to cope with the growing demands of VOD delivery will be featured alongside next generation video headend and advanced encoding.
3DTV is displayed on the KreaTV set-top platform, providing automatic configuration of the 3D format and adaption of on-screen text and graphics.
