Having previously created the site for Britain’s Next Top Model, Numiko was tasked with developing another site for the channel to promote the Live TV programme which will be broadcast live over Halloween weekend.
Paranormal Investigation: Live will be broadcast from a secret location and will investigate and attempt to capture evidence of the paranormal through a number of scientific and spiritual techniques.
The site allows users to submit their own evidence through images, audio or video, while also attempt to debunk or supports other user’s evidence.
User’s comments are also available to view on the site.
The best submissions will be featured on the show itself, while the programme and the site will also feature social network content through Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.
Two amateur teams will take part in the weekend and will be set a number of tasks. Each member of the team will use the website and their own blog to interact with online users in preparation for the weekend.
Four webcam will also stream live to the website to allow users to see what’s going on elsewhere while watching the show.
Alex Ayling, commissioning executive for Living TV Group, said: “With Paranormal Investigation Live we are bringing a brand new kind of programme to Living’s loyal paranormal fans. The features on this beautifully designed site will provide a fresh, new element to the show and deliver the ultimate two-screen experience.”
