Dutch thematic music channel TV Oranje has launched an online subscription service, which gives 24/7 access to the channel’s live stream. The service is primarily aimed at Dutch expats who want to see ‘music from home’.
TV Oranje is available at a cost of €3.50 per month, six months cost €19.95 and a one-year subscription is € 34.95. According to the channel a few dozen people have already taken a subscription. As an introductory offer, people also receive the German language music channel Schlager TV at no additional cost.
TV Oranje was launched five years ago on October, 5, 2005. The channel now enjoys distribution on most platforms in The Netherlands including the satellite DTH provider Canal Digitaal Satelliet. The channel has a potential reach of 5 million households via the various digital platforms.
