Technisat’s boxes of delights

IBC 2010 – Hall 1, Stand A44. TechniSat Digital will showcase a range of OEM and reference products that include a new range of DVB/IP hybrid devices, PC products with 3D functionality and its recently launched DVB-T2 set-top box for use with the UK’s Freeview HD.
Technisat is adding IP capability to its multi-tuner IDTVs, adding a fourth delivery mode in addition to satellite, cable and terrestrial reception. The Connected TV functionality includes UPnP/DLNA, HbbTV compatibility and widget support.
The HDFV receiver for Freeview HD also has Connected TV capability through either a fixed connection or wirelessly through the optional TechniSat WLAN Adaptor. Files can be streamed from the PC and it will also be possible to access the BBC iPlayer.
Technisat’s PC range includes the SkyStar USB HD that allows reception of standard and high definition programming on the PC, by satellite, through a DVB-S/DVB-S2 digital receiver.
