The Moscow City authorities are prepared to sell their 26% stake in the cable operator Mosteleset.
According to AKTR and TelecomDaily, it will be offered in an auction, participation in which will cost R90 million (€2.3 million), for an initial R1.8 billion.
Mosteleset was established in 2005 by the authorities and investment group Nafta Moskva and is the largest shareholder in Mostelecom, the leading provider of cable services in the Russian capital.
The latter currently serves over 3 million households.
