Additionally, LG will incorporate news and entertainment of iG portal.
At an international level, the company added provided like Facebook, Twitter and Google Maps, among others. Service updating is free-of-charge. Therefore, according to LG's press release, those who have already bought TV sets with NetCast will receive new providers' content at no additional cost. Saraiva Digital offers more than three thousand movies for rent or sale. Via-streaming rent is offered at USD 1,15. On the other hand, NetMovies has a portfolio of over two thousand movies. Users have access to the service though a USD 6 monthly subscription that enables them to see as many movies as they wish.
"With the new partners of content via web, the viewer will start a new entertainment consumption concept where the user will have the option of seeing movies or series any time he/she wants, either by buying it, renting it or becoming a service subscriber", explained Daniel Almeida, LG Manager of LG TV sets. LG's NetCast service widens programming possibilities by offering entertainment, updated news, photograph administration and weather forecasts, among others.
