CanalSat shifted to the transponder in DVB-S2 and vice versa

French satellite pay-TV CanalSat today made significant changes to their transponders. Two multiplexes of today are working in Standard DVB-S2/QPSK (originally DVB-S/QPSK). The changes also affected the other transponder service.

Newly frequency 12.207 GHz, pol V and 12.012 GHz, pol V CanalSat platform working in the standard DVB-S2 and disseminate programs in high definition.

All the above mentioned programs are encrypted system Viaccess and Nagra Media Access (using Nagravision) and are available for subscribers to CanalSat relevant software packages.

Besides the shift multiplex of DVB-S DVB-S2 has been a change opposite. One of the original DVB-S2 transponder is now working in DVB-S and disseminate programs in standard definition. Most of them, but encrypted.
