  • Digital Revolution Studios and Wild Eyes Productions partner to bring high quality 3D entertainment into the home

Full service 3D production company, Digital Revolution Studios is proud to announce its newly founded partnership with Wild Eyes Productions.

The newly founded company, DRS-Wild Eyes, is a strategic partnership designed to carry out a multitude of stereoscopic 3D documentary and docu-reality productions made specifically for the home market. By combining Digital Revolution Studios' mastery of stereoscopic 3D content production and technologies with Wild Eyes' significant track record in television, documentary and docu-reality filmmaking, the two companies are satiating the fast-growing demand for 3D entertainment worldwide.

DRS-Wild Eyes currently has its crew in full swing on 2 major productions for global distribution. Both projects unite cutting edge technology with high quality documentary-style filmmaking that feature a tougher side of life that many of us would never get to see. But now, for the first time in history, the public will be able to experience these stories as though they were right there, but from the comfort of their own homes. Among many exciting projects is their 3D African Safari adventure, where audiences will be given a virtual tour of the animal kingdom in some of the most rare and captivating environments known to man. Wild Eyes President David Keane states, "This is a very exciting time for us to be out in the fields doing what we do best, telling the extraordinary stories of the world. And now with the support of our 3D experts, our stories will reach people on a whole new level, and the possibilities are limitless!"

Digital Revolution Studios CEO, Gina Tanner states, "Our diverse team is currently pioneering some of the most in-depth storytelling with the 3D medium, thanks to the wealth of experience and talent Wild Eyes contributes to our projects. As we embark on this new era, we are fully equipped to make an impact on the future of entertainment by upholding the highest standards of quality content and production." It is DRS' motto to create beautifully realistic 3D on a businessman's budget. DRS President, Craig Tanner, has created a state-of-the-art 3D workflow that exceeds industry standards but does not break the bank. Emmy Award-winning Craig Tanner was the Visual Effects Editor of AVATAR. His motive is to supply the growing demand of quality 3D content within homes around the globe.

Studios have announced over 30 feature films to be released in 3D next year, and by the end of 2010, more than 50 broadcasters and TV operators will be offering 3D services to the home. The current price for a Samsung 50" 3D display is as low as $1,099, comparable to the average HD display. By the year 2013, Displaybank predicts over 86 percent of all plasmas will be 3D enabled and according to IMS Research, approximately 40 percent of U.S. households will have a 3D TV by the end of 2014. As the industry continues to invest in 3D and the audience continues to embrace it, DRS-Wild Eyes will continue to supply the masses with highly immersive and spectacular entertainment. Keep both eyes peeled for an exciting release of 3D productions coming your way in 2011, brought to you by Digital Revolution Studios and DRS-Wild Eyes.
