MTG sellsBet24 to Unibet

Modern Times Group is selling its Nordic Betting Ltd subsidiary Nordic Betting Ltd to Unibet.
The broadcaster will receive €13.5 million for its betting operations known as Bet24, which offered a range of sports betting and gaming products across Northern Europe.
Last November Unibet acquired EurosportBet France from Solfive that had earlier acquired control of the broadcaster’s betting activities.
Unibet intends to rebrand the Bet24 products and services and migrate customers to its own platform.
Unibet will transfer approximately 45 Nordic Betting Ltd employees to its operations in Malta.
