Mobile satellite communications services Stratos Global has launched Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) Money Bundle packages that enable customers to utilise all Inmarsat BGAN services for one predictable subscription fee. While existing BGAN allowance packages offer specific allocations of data or voice minutes, the BGAN Money Bundles include all BGAN traffic types including, standard IP, streaming IP, ISDN, voice and SMS for a single monthly, quarterly or annual fee. BGAN uses portable, lightweight terminals to provide IP data up to 492 kbps and voice connectivity.
BGAN enables communications in areas where terrestrial or Mobile networks are damaged, congested or non-existent. BGAN Money Bundles from Stratos are available across all BGAN usage plans, including Geographic plans, Single-Sim Premium & Flexible plans, and Multi-Sim SCAP plans. Stratos Dashboard has been upgraded with these new packages and since the launch of the programme, Stratos is offering a BGAN Money Bundle customer training programme and customer support for its Channel Partners to implement these packages in their systems.
