New V2 version requires ChainAuthor.map version 256 or higher. Old version can read till version 255.
New CUDA version:
V1 and V2 use CUDA 6.5 (old version use 5.5). You must update your driver to at least 6.5 _https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-downloads
New cards (e.g. GeForce GTX980 and GTX970) should work, because CUDA 6.5 supports them.
Search crypt8 with V1 and V2:
If you have recorded the TS file with a weak sat signal the old version has found and shown additional crypt8 values, but they are wrong because in some bad packets the encryption flag was flipped from plain to scrambled.
The new V1 and V2 will ignore bad packets.
As known since the old V2 the speed is much higher than in V1.
When using a slow GPU on both versions with a big payload size (e.g. B8hxXXh) the difference is not so much.
When using a slow GPU on both versions with a small payload size (e.g. 08hxXXh) the V2 is around 2-3 times faster.
When using a fast GPU on both versions with a big payload size (e.g. B8hxXXh) the V2 is around 3 times faster.
When using a fast GPU on both versions with a small payload size (e.g. 08hxXXh) the V2 is around 4 times faster.
So I have switch off the create chains function in V1 (kept only B8hx00h for testing purpose).
When creating chains with V2 you can select the chain length now.
If you want use the chains for V2 RBT then select chain length 1000h (will create RBC2 files as in the old version).
If you want use the chains for V1 RBT then select chain length 10000h (will create new RBC4 files).
To convert the RBC4 files to RBC files add the job "Convert RBC4 to RBC". Select the RBC4 dir and click start.
The RBC files can be used in V1.
I have seen that only a few users have shared the new V1 chains 08hxXXh chains to the public.
So I have decided that the "Convert RBC4 to RBC" will check if the RBC4 file is listed in the ChainAuthor.map.
Select the ChainAuthor.map version 256 or above, click the Info button and you should see two sections now:

When converting RBC4 to RBC and the file is present in the ChainAuthor.map the RBC file will be written to the sub folder output and the RBC4 file will be moved to the sub folder done.
If the RBC4 file is not in the ChainAuthor.map or the RBC4 is damaged than the RBC4 file will be moved to the sub folder failed.
So if you want share it is up to 4 times faster. If you only want exchange you can still use the old version 1.19f.
