The BBC has announced plans to cancel To Buy Or Not To Buy after seven years on the air.
The property show allowed potential buyers to "test-drive" homes to help them decide whether or not to purchase them.
According to The Guardian, the BBC's director of vision Jana Bennett announced plans to end the series yesterday.
"We shan't be recommissioning To Buy Or Not To Buy," she said. "BBC Birmingham, which makes the show, has a very strong track record in daytime and will be working on three pilot shows for the future."
Meanwhile, the BBC's controller of daytime Liam Keelan said: "BBC Daytime has seen a significant shift in terms of programming over the last two years and we've made successful inroads into original drama, current and consumer affairs, with titles including Land Girls, Rip Off Britain and Jimmy McGovern's award-winning series Moving On.
"This means there is less of a need for traditional formats such as property. The series has been running since 2003 and although we're proud of it, there is always a time when a run naturally comes to its end."
Around 100 episodes of To Buy Or Not To Buy are still to be aired or made and the show is expected to continue into next year before coming to an end.
