The Russian DTH platform NTV-Plus will introduce a new programme package tomorrow (September 15).
Known as ‘Lite Plus’, it will consist of 54 channels of various genres including sports, movies, news, educational, music and kids, some of which, include Nashe Kino and Sport Plus, will be proprietary, and cost R199 (€5.04) a month to receive.
Lite Plus will be made available to viewers living in the European part of Russia, who are covered by the Eutelsat W4 and W7 satellites.
NTV-Plus is backed by Gazprom-Media and the longest established DTH operation in CEE, having made its debut in 1996.
