MUMBAI: Pamela Anderson, the 43-year old buxom babe best known for her role in Baywatch series, will continue to appear at 9 pm as Bigg Boss gets a reprieve from the Bombay High Court to continue telecasting in its old time slot till Monday.
The court has stayed a government order directing Hindi general entertainment Colors to change the broadcast timings of Bigg Boss.
“Bigg Boss will continue to be telecast in the prime time slot of 9 pm. The next hearing is on Monday,” says a company spokesperson.
The government had on Wednesday directed Colors and Imagine TV to shift the telecast timings of Bigg Boss and Rakhi Ka Insaaf to adult hours between 11 pm and 5 am.
Viacom 18, which owns and operates Colors, moved the Bombay High Court challenging the government's directive.
Colors continued to air Big Boss at 9 pm yesterday as Anderson, who will be participating on the show for four days, made her maiden appearance.
Colors contended in the court that no date has been mentioned as to when the show was against good taste and decency. The show has been on for one and a half months and the content can’t be classified as obscene, Colors said.
