Swisscom had reached 358,000 subscribers for its IPTV service 'Swisscom TV' by the end of the third quarter of this year, almost doubling from one year previously and up 126,000 from the start of the year.
The company also reports that its multiplay bundles continue to sell well, with 157,000 customers having already signed up for its Casa Trio offering, which combines fixed-line telephony, broadband and IPTV. Swisscom had reached a total of 1.55mn broadband customers by the end of September, up 7.8% year-on-year.
Total revenues across all operations for the first nine months of this year reached CHF 8.976bn (US$ 9.34bn), up 0.6% year-on-year, while net profits fell 8.2% by the same comparison to CHF 1.408bn.
