Russia’s VimpelCom ended 2011 with 570,000 subscribers to its Beeline IPTV service, which was then available in 34 cities.
Its fixed broadband subscriber total meanwhile rose to over 2 million, or 46% more than a year earlier.
VimpelCom’s total revenues in Q4 in Russia amounted to R71 billion (€1.83 billion), representing year-on-year growth of 10%.
Those in the fixed-line sector stood at just over R12 billion, while fixed-line broadband ARPU was R432 (+7% year-on-year).
