The cost of TV advertising in Russia is likely to grow less this year than was previously forecast.
Quoted in Kommersant, the media company Ebiquity says advertising on federal stations will be 11% more expensive than in 2011, while on regional services the increase will be 15%.
Ebiquity bases its forecast on a poll of 30 advertisers in different product categories and with different levels of advertising budget.
In general, they account for some 27% of TV ad revenue.
Ebiquity notes than 60% of its respondents have reduced their ad budgets this year and 30% increased theirs.
Looking at other media, Ebiquity predicts the cost of online advertising will increase by 17% this year.
