IFA 2010 – BERLIN. The German firm Wisi announced it has acquired the exclusive rights to market the Philips DTR230 set-top box designed by Pace in the German market. The complete product Philips/Pace portfolio will be launched step by step.
„The Philips brand stands for extraordinary quality standards and has an excellent reputation in the German market. Philips receivers represent an excellent expansion of our offer as one of the leading providers in the full-range electronic trade. Therefore we are very glad about achieving this agreement“, said Axel Sihn, Managing Director of Wisi Communications, in a statement.
The first receiver under the brand Philips that will be launched by Wisi is the free-to-air digital terrestrial receiver DTR230 designed by Pace. This new receiver has a stylish and compact design. It offers a superior audio and video quality supported by a built-in technology called Pulse Killer Chip (PKC) that neutralizes interferences.
