UPC now has more than 400,000 subscribers to its internet services in the Czech Republic.
According to HN, this is 16% more than a year ago and compares with the 700,000 its main competitor Telef?nica O2 had as of the end of Q2.
Earlier this month it was announced that UPC had also reached 400,000 digital cable subscribers in the Czech Republic. This was equivalent to around one in 10 of all Czech TV households, and if analogue cable subscribers were also taken into account the figure would be one in eight.
