The Argentine company Mach Electronics finished the production and start-up of six DTT broadcasting antennas located in Resistencia, province of Chaco, and in La Plata, Baradero, Campana, Luj?n and Ca?uelas, in Buenos Aires province. Now, according to what Adri?n Camacci, Mach Electronics Commercial Manager told NexTV Latam, the company is getting ready for the installation of the next antennas in Formosa and Tucum?n, in the north area of the country, whose towers are being built.
The six towers have been recently inaugurated by the Argentine President, Cristina Fern?ndez de Kirchner. According to the official schedule, the first phase of DTT project foresees the installation of 46 broadcasting towers, which will cover the 75% of the population in 2011. So far, "25 towers have been bided and we have been granted the 65% of antennas and the 100% of broadcasting lines and power sensors", explained Camacci. The executive confirmed that, after Formosa and Tucum?n, devices would be installed in the provinces of La Pampa and Mendoza.
In order to carry out such initiative, the company opened a new operation facility, where the first integrations will be developed. "We have already delivered the State several antennas and some others are being manufactured, waiting for authorizations in new locations", Camacci commented. The installation of antennas is carried out jointly with technicians of the company and tower manufacturers.
Mach has 30 years of experience in the market and records 130 employees. As for digital TV, the company has executed a technology transference agreement with RFS (Radio Frequency Systems), wire and antenna manufacturer and with Linear, Brazilian transmitter manufacturer.
