There is still a wide disparity in the reach of new digital TV channels in the Czech Republic.
According to figures produced by ATO-Mediaresearch and published by HN, the publicly owned news channel is in first place, being available to 90.2% of viewers in the country.
It is followed by its sister channel CT4 Sport with 88.5% and then Nova Cinema (85.2%), TV Barrandov (80.7%) and Prima Cool (78.7%), with Z1 (51.8%) and Public TV (51.3%) having the lowest reach.
A somewhat different picture emerges when their ratings are considered.
Figures for the first full week of this month show TV Barrandov in first place with 4.75%, followed by Nova Cinema and CT 24 with 3.98% and 3.56% respectively.
