Singaporean telco SingTel has launched the new Family Channel Pack for its IPTV service 'mio TV', consisting of 28 channels and offered to all customers for free.
The channels cover a range of programming, including children's content, lifestyle, variety and documentary, news, music, TV series and free-to-air channels, while four of the channels also feature on-demand programming. Among the new channels are: British Documentary On Demand, Trace TV, Asia’s first lifestyle HD channel LI (Life Inspired), ETTV Asia, KidsCo, Australia Network and WE tv.
“The new Family Channel Pack delivers a combination of great value and compelling content for every member of the family,” said Mr Tim Carmichael, VP of mio TV. “This is yet another example of the new and exciting offers that mio TV will continue to bring to Singapore viewers.”
SingTel had reached 220,000 subscribers for its IPTV service 'mio TV' by the end of the second quarter of this year, up from 200,000 in April and 155,000 at the end of 2009
