Miranda has equipped Hungarian broadcaster Liga TV’s first HD truck with routing and signal processing systems, Miranda announced Oct. 14.
Miranda’s signal management system is based on an nVision 8288 HD/SD router equipped with 156 inputs and 240 outputs. Since a large majority of Hungarian television is broadcast in SD, the system includes compatible decoders, downstream keyers, and multiple downconverters.
The new truck will handle Liga TV’s coverage of the Hungarian NB1 soccer league, as well as national ice hockey, volleyball, handball and various concerts.
