14 Oct 10 German cable operator Kabel Deutschland (KDG) will focus on acquiring smaller operators rather than large regional players including Kabel BW, according to CEO Adrian von Hammerstein.
Von Hammerstein told Dow Jones Newswires at the Medientage conference in Munich yesterday that KDG was not prioritising the acquisition of Kabel BW, but would instead focus on operators with assets within its own existing footprint, including Primacom and Tele Columbus. However, von Hammerstein said that KDG would not pay an “unreasonable price” for operators.
